AGS has explained that the frequency of consolidated shipments from Morocco to Australia is virtually zero. It is agreed that a request was made for the effects to be shipped in a “shared container”. However, there are occasions where the expectations and assumptions of people relocating conflict with the operational realities any removal company (not just AGS) need to consider, especially where third parties are involved, such as, for example, shipping lines, freight consolidation agencies and customs regulations of the various countries. I cannot say enough great things about Sebastian and his handling of my delivery on this side. Not a single item in my entire container was damaged in any fashion! Amazing. Once my vessel docked, my belongings were delivered to me promptly ( after requiring double handling) and with the utmost care and consideration. I was provided with all forms in a timely manner and guided through completing them, clearly and concisely. Communication was regular, and I always knew where my belongings were and the exact cause of any delays. On the Spanish side, my story was exactly the opposite! I could not have received better, kinder help. They misplaced paperwork, requested documents from me multiple times, and did not seem to be communicating with each other. When I pushed a little more, I was asked if I just wanted to terminate the whole contract! Of course, I could not at that point. When questioned about one delay after another, they were not nice or kind in giving vague explanations. After that, I did not hear from them unless I initiated contact, or to succinctly notify me of yet another delay. They were very attentive and communicative until they locked in on a contract and had my money. From the US side, it left much to be desired.
